is it possible to not receive notifications as the event author? EE4 is sending me emails based on my WP user info as the author of many events. This is separate from the notification emails sent to the “Primary Contact Email” listed in general settings. Can I turn this author notification feature off?

Hi there,
Those emails are the ‘Event Admin’ contexts from the message system.
You can disable the messages, or you can send them to another email address if preferred. Without admin emails how will you keep up to date with the registrations?
If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates.
You’ll see a list of all the default message template for EE, like this – http://take.ms/dT5bk
Any that have a blue ‘Event Admin’ link have that context active.
To disable those emails you will need to edit each of those Event Admin context, set to ‘To’ field to nothing and then update the template.
