Hi, We are having a problem lately with the cart not showing events that you add to it. For example, if I add an event to the cart and view cart it will say cart is empty. E.g. https://www.lttraining.com.au/events/acdc-chemical-licence-training-and-accreditation/ add 4th of feb class. From a quick google, it looks like its cache problem, we have been using Autoptimise for caching. I turned it all off and deactivated it but we are still having the issue. Would you be able to help get our cart working again? Thanks |

I forgot to add, sometimes it works the first time and then the second time it doesn’t work. |

Hi there, For me it’s not working at all, every time I add a ticket to the cart it shows Nothing in your event queue. So you’re correct in that this is generally a caching issue but it will also happen when PHP Sessions are not maintaining state across requests. This could be cause by the server configuration and/or a plugin or the WordPress theme. The first thing to do is rule out the plugins & theme cause and this is quickly accomplished with the WordPress Health Check plugin. First create a database backup of the site, just to be safe. Then you install the Health Check plugin: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ Now go to WP -> Dashboard -> Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting. There you’ll Enable Troubleshooting Mode. Once that’s activated it will disable all plugins and switch you to a default theme, but only for you, the logged-in admin. Reactivate Event Espresso only via the Health Check’s Troubleshooting item in the WP admin bar. At that point, can you check to see if the issue persists? |

Thank you, I have tried this just then, I used a default template and only enabled event espresso and I still got the same issue when testing it in the troubleshooting mode. |

Ok, so that would normally rule out any plugin conflicts, we have seen it before where troubleshooting mode didn’t actually prevent the conflict but 99% of the time it’s valid. So in your opening post you asked to get this working ‘again’, making this worked previously right? As you’ve tested with no plugins enabled this would leave changes to your host between when it worked and now. I’ve just tested adding tickets to the cart on your site and right now it seems to be working, tickets are adding to the cart and I could proceed with the registration. I’ve tried that twice now and amended the cart on each attempt, both worked. Did you find the cause of the problem or is this still happening on your end? |

Hi, Our host just got back to us and they did have caching and optimising enabled. They turned it off for us in the last 12 hours and now it seems to work 100%. Thankyou for your time and help! |

You’re most welcome and I’m glad you found the problem. Any further questions just let us know. |
