When I click on “Cart” in the menu, it shows “empty.” But when I click on “view cart” during the registration process, the cart correctly shows the items I have added to the cart.
That cart in the menu isn’t from Event Espresso, did you manually add that in?
The issue is it needs ?uts=12345 (random numbers) adding to the URL.
Take a look at the 2 different URL’s being used above and you’ll notice the UTS value is included in the View Event Cart button but not your custom one.
