Hello,
I would like to know which capabilities I have to grant to a custom role in my EE to allow that role to enter in the EE the registrations for the events he is the author please ?

I already gave him the right to see his registrations, but I can’t find how to add him the button to go to the creation page (see the screenshot)

Hi.

To add a new attendee, you’ll want to focus on the ee_edit_contacts capability. See the “Contact (Attendee) Capabilities” tab in this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1paQ8gdiZmIpOTJetRtk0_7GZfsWIXkioqrWmXxS4FZo/edit

Hi;
thank you for your help, though it is still not working :
By forging the URL, I can, as the custom role, go to attendee creation, make it, apply a payment to it alright.

Though :
– I can’t have the button from the attendee list to appear as that role, even with ee_edit_contacts and ee_edit_contact allowed.
– if the event isn’t expired, the role can’t have the action under the event name in event list which lead him to the attendee list (it appears alright when event is expired). Once again, if I forge the URL to that page, it works.

I tried to use the core WP ‘post_row_actions’ filter to patch it and make it appear everytime, but it looks like the EE admin pages are not using the core filters ?

A simpler approach that you could take is start with the Events Administrator role, then remove any caps from it where you need restrict actions from those users. The Events Administrator role has everything it needs to add attendees in the wp-admin UI.
