Hi,
The error message indicates there’s already some files in /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/, quite possibly some of Event Espresso files have been installed but some files are missing.
If you do not see Event Espresso 4 listed on the WordPress > Plugins page, you’ll need to access the files on the site via your web host control panel or FTP, then delete the /event-espresso-core-reg/ folder. After that you can install the plugin.

Hi Josh,
Thank you for your help! But I can’t find any Event Espresso files anywhere on my WP plugins page. I had the decaf version, but when I purchased the full version, it must have deleted the decaf. This is the first file I tried to upload.

Since you do not see Event Espresso 4 listed on the WordPress > Plugins page, you’ll need to access the files on the site via your web host control panel (with the file manager) or use FTP. Then you’ll delete the /event-espresso-core-reg/ folder located in wp-content/plugins. After you do that, you can install the plugin.
