I can’t upgrade to 5.0.3p as I’m getting the following error:
An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Hi there,
We’ve identified an issue with updates on some servers with version 5.0.0-5.0.2 and applied a fix within 5.0.3.
I assume you are using the 1 click updates for the above?
Can you try updating manually and see if that works?
Download the .zip from your account page and upload it via:
Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin.
Select the .zip file you just downloaded and upload.
WordPress should tell you there is a version already installed and ask if you want to replace it. Check the plugin listed matches (obviously other than the version number) and replace it.
That gets you onto version 5.0.3 (currently the latest) and should prevent the above error on the next update, if not we can investigate further.

Then I manually upload the zip and get a new error:
The link you followed has expired.
Please try again.

Ok, that can happen if you’re hitting your server’s upload_max_size, post_max_size or max_execution_time limits, most likely upload/post_max_size in this case.
Does your host give you options to change your PHP settings within your control panel?
For example one of the hosts I use allows me to set those values within cPanel:

Thanks! Looks like it was post_max_size. Once I updated it and restarted the related services it worked.
