Cant update EE due to licensing issue.

A new version of Event Espresso is available. View What’s New with version 4.9.62.p. A valid Support License Key is needed to enable automatic upgrades. Your current account does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.

I have recently moved my site to new host and also created staging environment with new host. I removed the license key from staging environment but I keep getting this error. I tried reset the license key on my account but problem still persist. How do I resolve this. Not I can’t access the backend of the old host or wp-admin of old host to remove the key from there. Regardless its the same domain either new or old host.

Hi there,

Your license key is valid for one single site, currently your license key is assigned to your ‘naked’ domain and the requests are coming from www. so it flags up on the system.

Have you recently changed to no longer use a naked domain?

I’ll reset your license key again and it should assign to the current site.
