Can't open PDF version of invoice.

Hi,

Recently updated our site with a new service provider. Haven’t had to invoice anyone since this happened and we are on our first event that we require invoicing. Problem we are having is neither the person registering nor the administrator can open up the invoice in PDF format. This function was working prior to the overhaul. Site overhaul was more of a cleanup being we kept wordpress as platform and kept the same event espresso and usual plugins.

I am currently having the same issue with both the receipt and invoice links. after clicking on them the page sites and refreshes back to the transactions screen.
I have disabled all other plugins and tried the default 2019 theme and have had no luck.

Also to build on that under Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates I do not see a invoice or receipt template.

Hi Ken,

I’ve split your replies from within:

Then merged them into this topic as it’s a different issue to the above.

If you can see the Receipt/Invoice templates in the list, first check the message types are active.

Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.

Under the HTML tab, make sure Invoice and Receipt are in the ‘Active’ box on the left, they should be like this – https://monosnap.com/file/lePCpY2YesPoxvhthT6Hnp2fSMMM6T

If they are already there, drag them over to the inactive box, wait a few seconds and drag them back, that will make sure your settings are in sync within EE.

Now check if the message templates are available?

Also, in the settings page again, PDF tab, make sure the toggle is green, meaning PDF’s are active – https://monosnap.com/file/xqRvlKib3RoO0sY3bNojOEcam67v6a
