Hi,

Which version of Event Espresso are you currently using?

Are there any error message shown?

What version number of EE4 (4.3.0 for example) and are there any error messages shown?

We have made some significant changes to EE4 & the update engine since 4.2.4.reg so you may need to update manually on this occasion.

Start by creating a Full Site Back-up, (its important not to skip creating a backup) once you have done that:

1. Download the latest version of EE4 from Your Account Page
2. Once you have the .zip file, got to Plugins and De-activate EE4.
2. Now delete EE4 from your site (non of your events will be lost).
4. Go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New -> Upload and upload the zip file you just download.
5. Activate EE4.
6. Run through any data migrations that may be needed to update your database to the latest version.

If you are running the EE4 Calendar you will likely need to update that manually also.

Once you are running the latest version of EE4 try activating your site license once again.

Would this cause the calender not to work?

Hi Dov,

I’ve reset the licence key again, just to be sure. If it still can you try using a different licence key? We can recreate the other one if this works.

No it would not affect the running of the plugin or addons, just one click updates.

I put in the shortcode and it only gives the category selector but no calender…now what?

Hi,

Are there any errors appearing on that page when viewing it in Chrome developer tools or Firebug?

No error, css class is showing in developer tools, but without data.

It could be your theme. Does it work on another theme?
