Affiliate WP plugin is installed and activated. But I don’t see it anywhere on the WP dashboard. Please advise because I’ve looked and looked.

I also do not have this page it’s a 404. It’s acting like it’s not installed. There is also no delete option only deactivate.

“When AffiliateWP is installed and activated, it will automatically create a page on your site called Affiliate Area. This is the page where affiliates will manage their affiliate account. The default URL for this page is yoursite.com/affiliate-area/. “

I deactivated all plugins and cleared cache and only left Event Espresso and the Affiliate WP on. Affiliate still not showing up even though shows activated plugin. AND NOW, in doing that we have lot the PROMOTIONS under the Add-Ons as well. EventEspresso Promotions is activated but has disappeared when we deactivated and activated it. What is going on?

Perhaps you can supply older version of the Event Espresso so we can see if the upgrade to the new version is the issue?

Hi there,

The Affiliate WP Add-on doesn’t add another section into Event Espresso, it hooks into various actions within Event Espresso and updates Affiliate WP itself based on the registration/payment.

So you first need the WP Affiliate plugin: https://affiliatewp.com

Our WP Affiliate Add-on then hooks into the that to work with EE events, there’s no additional section shown for it within EE.

For the promotions add-on, it could be that for some reason the capabilities are missing.

With the promotions add-on activated, go to Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> Reset/Delete Data

Click on the ‘Reset Event Espresso Capabilities’ button to make sure all capabilities are set (make sure you click the right button as some of the other functions there will remove data).

Does the promotions section then show?

Promo codes appear to still be working even though we no longer can access them because the button is missing from the Event Espresso Add-On Dashboard. To be clear, this issue stated because Affiliate WP was not showing.

That means the promotions add-on is working so it’s likely the capabilities are missing.

Did you try the steps above?

To be clear, this issue stated because Affiliate WP was not showing.

See my reply above, there is no Affiliate WP section within EE.

Do you have the WP Affiliate plugin installed and activated? (Not the EE WP Affiliate Add-on, the full plugin from HERE)

AffiliateWP – I took the Affiliate WP listed in my downloads from my event espresso account (AffiliateWP Integration v1.0.3.p). Is that the correct plugin? The plugin is installed and activated. I am unable to move forward with what the documentation says in getting started, go to: navigate to Affiliates → Settings and enter your license key because I see no Affiliate button to select. So maybe you can direct me to where and how to navigate to Affiliate so I can continue with documentation?

As for Promotions button – Tried what you said, and the Promotions button is back. thank u

I don’t see Event Espresso on this list of integrations for the link you provided. Please advise, thx. : https://affiliatewp.com/integrations/

Read again, and again. “Our WP Affiliate Add-on then hooks into the that to work with EE events, there’s no additional section shown for it within EE.” I might be finally understanding this. The one in my account works with this other affiliate plugin so I need both plugins. Correct?

Correct.

The full WP Affiliate system/plugin needs to be installed on the site, that is what manages your affiliate links.

The Event Espresso WP Affiliate Add-on then acts as the integration between Event Espresso and WP Affiliate, so you need both.

Thank you for the confirmation.
