Title says it all. I am using the invoice plugin for companies who have accounts with us so we can bill them monthly. I was going to use the incomplete transactions to filter them out from the rest of the transactions but now I don’t see an export function in the transaction area like there is in the registration area.

I really just need a way to differentiate between the invoice and card registrations so I can create a total at the end of the month. If I am going about this the wrong way please let me know.

thank you

Hi there,

We don’t currently have a report function for transactions like we do for registrations.

However, what you can do is filter the registrations by transaction status (TXN Status) rather than registration status on the registrations list then export those, would that work for you?

Filtering by TXN Status isn’t available within core, but I’ve previously created an snippet to do it here:

https://gist.github.com/Pebblo/22995de5472c46a361ecc206bc8e9f9b

You can add that to a custom functions plugin on your site, we have some documentation on creating one here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-site-specific-plugin-wordpress-site/

That will add another ‘filter’ to the top of the list, select the TXN status you want and then click the filtered report button at the bottom to get a report of registrations with only that TXN status.

That was exactly what I needed. Thank you, since the invoice payment method registrations will default to incomplete transactions we can filter that way for now. I’m going to give our companies billing codes to enter in the promotion code area on the payment screen that gives 0% off and has the company’s name in it in order to make sorting out the registrations in excel easy at the end of the month until we have a custom report developed.

By any chance do you know of a snippet that would hide the invoice payment method until the user puts in their code?

I don’t know of anyone that has done that previously but as the promotion code is entered on the payment options step the payment methods have already loaded at that point, it would still be possible to do but will take more than just checking for the code.

Do ‘company’ users log into the site to register or is everyone able to register whilst logged out?

Yes, all users are required to login and they also have unique usergroups they are apart of and are assigned to when registering for an account.

In that case, you are better off filtering the payment methods like in your other thread:
