Can you help please? I can’t edit an event, all of the gears on the tickets don’t open anymore when I try to edit. I’ve checked plugins and there doesn’t appear to be any conflicts. We don’t have Yoast installed, and I can’t find what would cause this. Can you please help me get this fixed? It was working previously (yesterday) and no changes have been made since then. Thanks for your help.

It also won’t let me create a new event. I don’t know what to do.

You can troubleshoot this issue by following these steps:
1) A theme conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme, then test. The theme test drive plugin allows for testing another theme without actually changing your site’s theme.
2) A plugin conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily deactivating any other installed WordPress plugins. Then you reactivate them one by one, while testing the error condition between each reactivation.

Hi Josh- I did both of these. It was working fine before with no changes. I deactivated every plugin and tested and it’s still not working. The only change is an updated WordPress.

Hi Josh, I just tested again, and it’s a conflict with WooCommerce Membership
plugin. This sucks, because we need to use that plugin. Is there any fix for this?

Yes, it’s probably a simple fix where you’d add a small plugin to the site that tells the WooCommerce membership plugin to not load its scripts on the Event Espresso event editor page. The fix would not be necessary if Woocommerce membership didn’t load its scripts everywhere, that’d be the ideal fix though.

I can take a look at the WooCommerce membership plugin’s code and put together some code that tells it to stay off Event Espresso’s event editor page, which version of WooCommerce Membership does your site run, and where might I download a copy of it?
