When I create an event and then try to edit it with more information, the only thing I get is “an Event Overview” page that is not editable… Once the event is submitted, can you still edit some of the details.. I just purchased the Business License for my company.
There are a few possible causes to these issues. You can rules these out one by one:
1) A theme conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme.
2) A plugin conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily deactivating any other installed WordPress plugins.
3) The server doesn’t handle the way WP compresses the admin JavaScript files. You might try disabling JavaScript concatenation for the WordPress admin to see if that makes a difference:
You can use an [FTP client][1] and [a text editor][2] to access and add this line to the site’s wp-config.php file:
`define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);`
Thanks for the quick response. I ended up trying another skin (TwentyTwelve) and the issue was that same.. Then I tested it out in another WP instance (another server) and it worked… so I decided to restore a previous instance and rebuild… and create a restore point after each plugin install… So far, so good.. it seems to be working… Unfortunately, I have not done anything differently.. My suspicion is that something went wrong when I initially had the free version and then decided to take the business version… But this is only a guess… You can close this case as it seems to be working as of now.
Thanks a bunch!
Petri
