I am running Version 3.1.36.5.P and there’s an upgrade available. I have just renewed my licence and my account says it’s active for the website (beachvolleyballinc.com) – however when I go to the plugins it’s saying I need to renew my licence : “A new version of Event Espresso is available. View What’s New with version 3.1.37.12.P. A valid Support License Key is needed to enable automatic upgrades. The key you have entered is invalid or has expired. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.” My account is a Personal EE4 – I may have had a Personal EE3 before, I’m not sure. Would this make a difference? Thanks! |
Hi Ali, The account type does make a difference because an EE4 license does not get updates for Event Espresso 3. If you want to keep the site running Event Espresso 3 you can go to your account page and select the EE3 option under “Switch Your Support License”. If you want to migrate the site to Event Espresso 4 you can follow this guide: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-upgrade-event-espresso/#migrate-to-event-espresso-4 |

Thanks Josh. I’ll update and see if it’s working 🙂 |

Hi again I can re-send this post as it’s under a thread about automatic updates to the plugin if required? |
Hi Ali, I see where the problem is from. If you have a look at the theme’s stylesheet: http://www.beachvolleyballinc.com/wp-content/themes/gonzo-child-theme/style.css?ver=4.9 You’ll see some CSS code (starting on line 55) that’s set to hide the element that displays the ticket price and a few other event related items:
Can you remove that code from that file then clear your browser’s cache to see the changes? |

Ahhhh yes I see it now! Thank you :-)) |
