All of a sudden, one of our events will not allow us to add more tickets. I’ve tried every angle, even adding a new datetime, with no luck. Can you help? Thanks.
You might be hitting the web server’s inputs limit. May I ask how many tickets are there for that event right now?
Generally, if there’s more than 12 tickets on an event, and the web server’s limit on max_input_vars is 1000, you’ll hit that limit. In which case you can contact your web host and ask them to raise the limit to 2000.
Thanks for your help once again. The event had 28 active tickets and about 35 archived tickets when the limit was reached (if that is indeed the isssue). I duplicated the page, which allowed me to trash the archived tickets and add more. I’d like to avoid this problem in the future. Do you know if it’s possible or reasonable to ask the server to increase beyond 2000?
Your host will have to answer that, and 28 active tickets is a lot of tickets for any server. The solution for you may be to make more events, each with fewer tickets.
