We’ve removed all payments and registrations, and want to trash transactions that we made in test mode – however Transactions>Trash – there is no trash option. How do we remove these test transactions? |
Go to Registrations and trash from there. |
We did, t here are zero registrations in there now. But there are still 20 transactions that are there. |
If you click on one of those transactions, does it show anything in the ‘Attendee Registered to this transaction’ section of the page? |
Yes it does. |
It shows the (fake) attendee’s “attendee registered in this transaction” info. |
Ok, so there must still be registrations. In that same section, if you hover over the registrant name, you’ll see the REG_ID in the URL… clicking on it should take you directly to the registration itself. Have you checked the Trash registrations to confirm they aren’t listed there? |
Yes they are there but tagged cancelled. We don’t have a “trash” option under that menu where we find cancelled. |
Event Espresso -> Registrations should still list cancelled registrations. The ‘trash’ view is a link at the top of the list table, shown here: https://monosnap.com/file/XSCQKqSV2VVBGs1Ppxubkyyrc4O7aq Can you add a screenshot of the page you are viewing, please? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots |

so sorry for the confusion, they are not in registrations, they are in teh trash, but they appear in transactions, still, and there is no trash there. |
You can’t ‘delete’ transactions yourself. You delete the registrations associated with those transactions and when all of those have been removed, EE deletes the transaction for you. You mentioned when you click on those transactions you can see registrations (with a status of cancelled), those need to be deleted to clear those transactions. |
Yep, we’ve deleted those registrations. They still appear in transactions. There are 48 in “Trash” registrations – and they appear in the transactions too. |
If you have trash registrations you didn’t permanently delete the registrations, you trashed them. Permanently delete the registrations from the trash. |
