In order to comply with the GDPR 2018, my organisation needs to delete old events and old registrant information off of Event Espresso.
When I go to delete old registrants, I click on the green shopping trolley to delete the transaction, but when I go into the transaction there is no option to delete it, just ‘view/edit contact’ and all I can do is ‘bin’ the contact which doesn’t delete them (please see screenshot – https://snag.gy/cfJv1h.jpg), it just takes me back to a screen showing all registrants from my most recent/ongoing events (which I obviously don’t want to delete).
The transactions do not have a UI for deleting because one transaction can be related to many registrations.
What you do is go to Event Espresso registrations, then trash those, then go to the Trash bin and permanently delete. Once those are deleted, the transactions related to those registrations will also be gone.
