There are no registrants and no contacts but I cannot per delete a custom question. This is the error I get. I was able to successfully delete several other, just not this one.
An error has occurred:
This Question is currently linked to one or more Question Option records. If this Question is incorrect, then please remove it from all Question Options before attempting to delete it.

Hi, that will happen if there is still linked data. Could you take another look at the registrants that are trashed and permanently delete those?

Hi, did you start testing on the site and have cleared out data so you can start new?

we did some testing and cleared out things so we can go from there.

Hi Robert, this is an easy fix and I’m not sure how I overlooked it before.
The question that you are trying to delete is currently enabled on one of your question groups.
Go to WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Registration Form –> Question Groups
Then open the question group that has the question linked to it and uncheck it and save changes.
Then you can permanently delete it.

That did not work as it was not shown in the question groups. I played with it. I restored the question, then looked at the question group. It was listed but not checked. I then check marked the question and saved. I then uncheck marked the question and saved. I then moved it to trash and was then able to perm delete it.
