Cannot install EE4 on WordPress website

I have purchased and downloaded EE4 Core Reg and it will not install on our WordPress website. WordPress said it will not take PlugIns. Is there a workaround or another software we can use from EE that WordPress accepts?

Is there an error message shown when you try to install EE4?

If so, what is the exact error shown?

Are you using a self-hosted site or on WordPress.com?
