Hi All,
Please help. I was using the Lite version, and purchased EE4. I’ve downloaded the zip, and when I upload and install from my Plugins manager page in WP I get this error message:
Could not copy file. event-espresso-core-reg/admin_pages/registration_form/help_tabs/registration_form_questions_overview_views_bulk_actions_search.help_tab.php
I’ve tried updating everything (plugins, themes, WP), and re-downloading the .zip file from EE, but I’m still getting the same error!

Hi, your site may be timing out during the install process.
Could you login to your site with an SFTP or FTP client and then browse here:
/wp-content/plugins
Look for the event-espresso-core-reg folder and then try deleting it. Your SFTP or FTP client will then start removing the files and folders. Allow some time for it to remove everything.
Then try raising the memory that is available to WordPress through your wp-config.php file:

Then try another install of the zip file through WordPress Plugins –> Add New –> Upload.
