I have been through the forums and tried the fixes I can. Newbie here… We get the following errors when attempting to access EE from admin screen: “The incoming statuses argument must be an array with keys as the $status_id and values as the $status_code EEM_Status – localized_status – 240” Host confirmed three times that we are on linux and are apache compliant(not windows based). “There were errors creating the Event Espresso database tables and Event Espresso has been deactivated. To view the errors, please enable WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php file. We have no developer to help us get ee going and we need ee right away. Thank you for any help. |
Were you able to turn on WP_DEBUG to see the errors? |

One other thing: It turns out that the FTP credentials you sent go to an empty folder. Can you resend some FTP credentials that can access the folder where WordPress is installed on your server, or set the user account that was set up to allow access to that folder? If the answer is no, they maybe you can send access to the hosting c-panel. In any case, we’ll need to be able to access the WordPress installation’s files in order to troubleshoot. |

How do i get this to you securely? |
You can send it via the redeem a support token form (it’s the same form that you’ve already sent information with). |

Hi Dawn, We were able to get things so that Event Espresso will function. The database tables that store most of Event Espresso’s data were not readable in their present state. So that’s why you saw all the errors you saw. If you can send the database backup that you mentioned you had (from 5-4-16) we can make an attempt at restoring that data to your website. You can email the database backup file to support @ eventespresso.com. |

Thanks for sending. We were able to restore the bulk of the data from the backup. Going forward, I can recommend using a service like VaultPress, which can come in handy because they take care of making regular backups and storing them securely, and VaultPress has a 1-click database backup restore feature. |

Thank you all. You are amazing. Looking into VaultPress. Any advantage to going to a wordpress optimzed hosting VPS? Would this impact help these kind of issues or just muddy the waters? |
Some WordPress optimized hosting options do quite a bit of caching which can end up causing issues with Event Espresso. We have a list of recommended hosts here: |
