We’ve tried to export our attendee list via Excel and .csv and get this message: Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again. How can I just print out a list with all the attendee information? Please help, thank you. WordPress 3.6.1 |
Hi Brenda, The message you’re seeing might be a nonce check fail, which you could try logging out and logging back in as the admin and that may help. |

Hi Josh, That didn’t work. Is there a shortcode I can use that just pulls name and email address? That would work as a temporary fix until we can figure out why the export does not work. Or any way that I can just pull name and email address for a particular event. Thanks |
Hi Brenda, You know, it might help to update to the latest version of Event Espresso 3.1.36.4, there were a few fixes with the nonce checks between the version you have and the current one. As far as shortcodes go, yes there’s an attendee list shortcode that can be placed on a page that will display the list on the front end of the website, and it’s documented here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#attendee-list If you can post a screenshot of the links that you’re clicking when you try to export the list that might help us too. (There are several ways to get to that attendee list export, and the route you’re trying may not have the right nonce fields) |

Hi Josh, I upgraded EE to the latest version. I still cannot export to Excel. I have tried every way in the plugin to export to Excel. All I want to do is be able to export an attendee list for a any event with name and email address. Please help, thanks… |
Hi Brenda, Are you logged in as an admin when you try to export the list? |
|
|
Yes, logged in as admin. |
Can you check to see if you have any plugins that alter the user role capabilities? |
|
|
There is a plugin “Peter’s Login Redirect” but it is not activated. Not sure what it’s for, it was here when I took over this account. |
Hi Brenda, It may help if we can take a look at the admin. If possible, can you create a new temporary admin account that we’ll use to troubleshoot? If this is possible please send the credentials via the contact form on this page: |

Hi Brenda, I’ve narrowed the cause of the issue down to the Elemin WordPress theme. It looks like it’s running an older version of Elemin, so they may have fixed this issue. You could try updating Elemin to the latest version and contact Themify for support if that doesn’t fix it. I did install a plugin called theme test drive that lets you change the theme for only you (no one else sees the change). So if you need to go in right now and export attendee lists you can do this by: 1) You go to Appearance > Theme Test Drive which is yoursite.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=themedrive_options_page 2) Select a theme like Twentytwelve 3) Click Enable Theme Drive 4) Go to the Event Espresso overview and export event data by clicking the export links 5) When you’re done you go back to the theme test drive options page and disable theme drive. |
