I’ve created a new user role with the following permissions granted (among others):
ee_edit_event
ee_read_event
ee_read_events
However, I’ve lost the following functionality for dates and tickets when compared with the administrator:
– Name of event-date
– Add new dates for event
– Tickets assigned for a date
– Tickets Advanced settings
– Duplicate date/ ticket
That’s actually to be expected because you’ll need to give that user role the capability to edit date times and tickets. A good starting point that you can get started with is go in to edit the Events Administrator role, it has all the needed capabilities and you can review those.
Thanks, however I’ve tried activating administrator capabilities to new user role (using Tadlock’s Members) without effect. Can you please say what capabilities are those to ediut date times and tickets? I’ve been through your Capabilities in EE4 spreadsheet but have not been able to identify those.
You don’t actually activate administrator capabilities unless you were creating another administrator role. The ticket capabilities are listed on this page of the spreadsheet:
I got this fixed. It was a matter of granting correct price and ticket capabilities to the new user role as in the spreadsheet.
Thanks for you great support!
