I deleted a user on our site. When deleting I opted to attribue all content to another site user. Now when in Event Espresso, I cannot pull up coupon codes. I am not sure if the deleted user created any of the coupon codes, but do know there are codes in there created by other users. I have logged in as multiple users and have the same problem on all. |

Any ideas for me? It won’t even pull up new coupon codes I created as a test. Just stuck loading…. |

Please help! Trying to get this set up for a new customer and need to have accress to coupon codes!!!!!! |

Tony? Garth? Josh? Where are you guys???????? |
We’re on lunch break. Have you tried deactivating the Roles and Permissions add-on? That would be the only reason for coupon codes to be tied to a user account. For future reference, you might also consider backing up your database before deleting things, that way you can restore the database to the backup if things don’t go as planned after deleting user accounts or other things. |

Is that the same as the Permissions Plug-in? I deactivated that, then reactivated that. The promo codes are back, but now I cannot change the user permission for the discount page to event admin. Any ideas for me? |

Now promo code problem is back. Stuck loading… Tried deactivate/activate permissions plug-in again and it didn’t work |
I think you’ll need to leave the permissions plugin deactivated in order to view the coupon codes that were added by the author that has since been deleted. The only way to keep the promo codes available and keep the permissions plugin active would be to reassign the codes to a new author. One way to transfer ownership of those coupon codes would be to go to the web host cpanel/control panel, then open up phpmyadmin, and change the value in the wp_user field to match an existing user ID that hasn’t been deleted. May I ask is there anyone on your team that’s familiar with how to use phpmyadmin? |

It’s not just the coupon codes created by the deleted individual that will not load. It’s all coupon codes. I deactivated the permissions plug in and coupon code information still won’t load. Stuck loading… Also, no one here familiar with how to use phpmyadmin. |
Are they not loading within the event editor or within the promo code page (where you add more promo codes) or not loading in both places? The event editor uses AJAX to load in the promo codes, so if there’s any AJAX related conflicts there, that can have an affect on the promo codes. In which case you can deactivate the other plugins on the site to rule out a plugin conflict, and even switch to a default theme to rule out a theme conflict. |
