when i go through the process of testing my registrations, and i decide to cancel the registration, there is a message saying
“All unsaved registration information entered during this session has been deleted.”
but when i look into the registrations section on the backend, the registration is there with a pending payment. this is confusing for our staff, please advise
EE saves the registration data on each step as the attendee works through them, so the message states any unsaved registration information in case they’ve made changes and then clicked the cancel button.
The cancel registration button does not set a registration to have a status of ‘cancelled’ is basically breaks the session so that another may be made if needed.
Can I ask what is it about the above that is causing confusion?
sure, thanks for the feedback, my only concern is when one of our reservations team go into the registrations settings, there is no way I can tell that this is a partially completed or canceled registration so could be a little confusing and result in sending out payment/billing notifications etc.
The transaction for the above registrations will have a status of abandoned and will be listed with the TXN date orange in the registration list – http://take.ms/hd3EE
The registration that did complete will have a TXN staus of incomplete and the link will be blue.
awesome, for some reason when I was cancelling these transactions it was not changing the color to orange or saying abandoned, i have updated the plugin tested and seems to be ok now, thanks
