Cancelled a ticket within a multi-ticket purchase

I have a situation where we have an event that has multiple “Event Datetimes” and multiple “Event Tickets”.

Our event has numerous ticket options with several tickets include multiple datetimes. A registrant has purchased 6 tickets within one transaction via their credit card and wants to cancel one of the ticket/datetimes combinations.

What is the best way to cancel the one “Event Datetime” or “Event Ticket” within a purchase of multiple “Event Tickets” without having to cancel the complete registration? I’d also like to ensure that this event is traceable within EE so that I can reconcile with the bank statement.

Hi, a single ticket option can’t be cancelled on the registration. The entire registration would need to be cancelled and then processed again if you want the ticket availability to be updated.

Otherwise, apply a refund against the transaction with a note like this:

Event Admin – Canceling and Refunding ‘Name of Ticket’

Then refund the amount due back to the registrant/attendee via your payment processor.
