I understand EE can be configured so users can manage their own books, cancelling their place if required.
When they come to cancel their place, is it possible to display some sort of option (drop down list, checkboxes etc) to ask why they’re cancelling (and make this mandatory)?
Currently with EE4 the users can not cancel the registration from the front end. They can view their registrations but to cancel they need to contact the event admin who can do this manually within EE.
With EE3 they do have the option to cancel the registration, however some custom development would be needed to allow the user to select a reason for the cancellation as that is not included currently.
I was looking at 4, but the ability to cance their own events is key. I’m pleased I asked the question, even though the answer wasn’t what I was hoping for.
We do not have an ETA on when that feature will be available currently.
We have an open feature request for this and I will add your thread to that ticket.
