Can promotion code be set to one per user?

Hi,

Is there a way to set up a promotion code to be redeemed only once by a user?

I know you could generate unique codes and send them out to different users. But is there a simpler way such as limit it to one redemption per email account?

I’m afraid the promotions add-on doesn’t track promo code usage to email accounts. Currently the limit feature is built to limit a promotion to a scope item/event.
