Hi !

I installed EE4 a few weeks ago and today i tried to start using it.
There was an upgrade available so I didi it and I now have EE4 4.4.4.p.

I always have a php error above the part to create a ticket :
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/30/d363154507/htdocs/events/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/caffeinated/admin/new/pricing/espresso_events_Pricing_Hooks.class.php on line 760

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/30/d363154507/htdocs/events/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/caffeinated/admin/new/pricing/espresso_events_Pricing_Hooks.class.php on line 692

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/30/d363154507/htdocs/events/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/caffeinated/admin/new/pricing/espresso_events_Pricing_Hooks.class.php on line 1089

And when i try to add a ticket and save, it doesn’t work at all, i just have a big error :
Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘EE_Error’ with message ‘Something went wrong with setting the date/time. Likely, either there is an invalid datetime string or an invalid timezone string being used.’ in /homepages/30/d363154507/htdocs/events/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/fields/EE_Datetime_Field.php:456 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/30/d363154507/htdocs/events/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/fields/EE_Datetime_Field.php(415): EE_Datetime_Field->_convert_from_string_value_to_utc_unix_timestamp(‘4 April 2015 23…’) #1 /homepages/30/d363154507/htdocs/events/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/fields/EE_Datetime_Field.php(103): EE_Datetime_Field->_convert_to_utc_unix_timestamp(‘4 April 2015 23…’) #2 /homepages/30/d363154507/htdocs/events/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_classes/EE_Base_Class.class.php(195): EE_Datetime_Field->prepare_for_set(‘4 April 2015 23…’) #3 /homepages/30/d363154507/htdocs/events/wp-content/plugins/event-espr in /homepages/30/d363154507/htdocs/events/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/fields/EE_Datetime_Field.php on line 456

I desactivated all my plugins and i have a wordpress 4 perfectly working, i don’t understand where does that come from.
That would be nice if you could help.

Thanks,

Céline

Hi Céline,

Is this a windows based server?

If not, was Event Espresso 4 originally installed manually by uploading file through an SFTP or FTP client?

Also, please be sure you are using a date format that is supported:

Hi Lorenzo,

Thanks for your answer.

No it is a linux based server, and I installed the plugin through wordpress, not via ftp.

I checked for the date but it doesn’t change anything 🙁

Hi Céline,

Can you go to Dashboard -> Settings -> General.

What settings do you currently have for Date/Time formats? – http://take.ms/JaW8u

When creating your events, are you adding an Event Name/Title? It is required for the Events to work correctly.

Hi Tony,

I have a good date setting as Lorenzo told me to check it too. It’s F. j. Y
I tried to install event espresso again, and actually 4 4.4.3.p is working fine but when I want to do the 4 4.4.4.p update then it stops working.
I guess there is something wrong with this uopdate

Hi Céline,

It sounds like something went wrong during the update. Can you try doing a manual update? You can actually deactivate Event Espresso 4.4.3, then re-name the plugin folder from event-espresso-reg-core to something like previous-event-espresso. Then download the 4.4.4.p zip and install through the WP plugins screen.
