Can Login To App With Any Password, But No Data For Correct One

Hi Guys- we have a conference tomorrow and I am setting up the mobile app for checkins. I have installed the passwords plugin, and set a password for myself. When I go to the app on my iPad, and I login, it lets me login, and then says “No Records Found”. I tried several different times, and found the app logged me in, even when I put the wrong password in, however, at no point, did the mobile app display any of our events. The events are published, EE and WP have been updated to the latest versions too. Can you help me get our registrations to show up on the app?

Hi Josephine,

It sounds like it’s either not authenticating or the user doesn’t have the permissions to view events. Does anything change if you use the WP admin password instead of the Application Password?

If you can complete the form on this secure page someone from Event Espresso staff can investigate further.

Hey- thanks for the quick response. No, it does the same thing when I try the main admin pw. I will send the form now. Thanks again!

Hi there,

I’m afraid the information you sent for the WP log in was incorrect. Can you resend the form with the correct information?

Hi there,

The app is displaying the event when I log in. Here’s a screenshot.

When you go to log in with the app, you may need to make sure you input the URL starting with https://www. If you’re still having trouble with logging in to the app you could try the last credentials you sent us, that account allows for viewing the event and registrations.
