Basically – I am trying to sort out a community meals on wheels booking service in rural ireland.
The flow of the site would be :
I want people to choose a meal category (I guess this is the event or the event category) e.g. Hot or Frozen
Then I want them to choose days that the delivery service is available. (not weekends and with 48hrs notice) by clicking on a calendar and it adding up the days and recording it.
Then I want them to choose a meal selection – (A variation or option within the event or the event itself. )
Then I want them to be able to pay for the meals online with paypal (and also if possible via an encrypted form so they can put it through on the visa machine they have)
We need a reporting mechanism in the backend that will show what is booked on a particular day. I don’t think a normal cart will do what I need to do so I was thinking that using an events booking system might work.
3) If someone clicks on an event, then they’ll be brought to the event page so they can select the pricing options and begin checkout.
Event Espresso allows you to setup various payment methods but here are the limitations:
+ There isn’t a feature to limit registration to events that have a 48-hour notice.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks
