I don’t have quickbooks online and am wondering if that’s why I cannot connect the quickbooks payment gateway with Event Espresso. I keep getting this error:

Message: Event Espresso not allowed to get access to QuickBooks

Can I somehow force it to not use QB online? Here’s a link that talks about it:

Hi Carrie,
I checked the documentation and it says that Quickbooks online is required.
A QuickBooks account is needed including QuickBooks Online is needed to accept payments via QuickBooks.

I edited the file like this:
datasources: {
quickbooks: false,
payments: true,
desktop: false
},
but I still get this error:
Error Code: no_access_to_this_field
Message: Event Espresso not allowed to get access to QuickBooks

I’m afraid for now the only way to use the Quickbooks payment gateway is to have what the documentation requires.
