I have an existing website written in PHP, which already has a calendar displaying events. A user can click on the event in the calendar and display a page where they can click to register and pay. Currently I’m using a 3rd party vendor for actual registration and payment. I like Event Espresso’s ability to use a Global Discount Code, which is necessary for my business, as all events can share the same discount codes, but I need to limit the overall number of discount codes used. My application doesn’t use WordPress. Can I “embed” Event Espresso in my application, or do I have to rewrite my app in WordPress to be able to use Event Espresso?
Event Espresso is dependant on WordPress, (it uses core WordPress functions for just about everything) so maybe the latter option would work, but I should let you know that Event Espresso 3 doesn’t have a feature where it limits the overall number of discounts used.
