Hello, I’m trying to do some work in the EE4 test site. redacted-loc Even though I am logged in as demoee I can’t seem to access the back end, it says “Oops! We could not locate your form.”

Hello, When you fill out the form, a unique demo site is created for you. You would need to login to that site which will look something like this: demoe.org/1kdl321lfs/wp-admin/ (this is an example and not an actual site) If you have lost your URL, then please create a new demo site through: — |

Hi, thank you for being so responsive. I really do try to search the forums for answers first! |
Hi Annie, We don’t have an option to repeat Attendee #2’s information. If you don’t want to use the “copy attendee information from attendee 1” feature, then information will need to be entered for each ticket type. |

What is the solution for multiple attendees under one registration? All solutions when I search the forum are not visible. very frustrating to see people say “yeah, thanks, then not be able to know how. I set up different questions, but they don’t show like I think would be a very common situation, meaning 1 main person, then one guest. I have attendee #1 with all the basic info, then additional attendees with just first name/last name, but the way it shows up under the second and third tickets is only the first name/last name twice. |
Hi, The personal question group is required for all attendees. It looks like you may have created a new question group with two questions to collect that information. Try toggling that off and enabling the personal question group for additional attendees and saving changes to your event. — |

I really appreciate how responsive you are. thank you. I’m at the tipping point to buy or not buy and am close to bailing, but I’m trying to see this through. My current frustration is with the attendee information for multiple registrants. I don’t understand your logic, and I try to take deep breaths and assume smart people had a reason to set it up like it is, so I just need to hear what you were thinking and why it is the way it is. Is there a way to not have the attendee numbers go up consecutively? It is not intuitive that the same person is now Attendee #1, #3 and #5 if the same person is buying three tickets for one event on consecutive days. It is also not efficient to not have attendee #2 be able to repeat their registration info in one click. Can you shorten the questions you ask for additional tickets? i.e. first ticket, Attendee #1 and #2 full personal information, then next tickets only need first/last name? That is what I was trying to do with setting up other question groups. I’m trying to work within your system, and like I said, I’m sure smart people have figured out workarounds. I can foresee a lot of confusion with registrants and frustration that they have to repeatedly fill out the same information for different tickets. Is there a way to turn that off or just have it be attendee #1, attendee #2 repeated under each ticket? I’ve invested significant time trying to learn your product so I can successfully demo it to my stakeholders but I can hear their objections already. If you can help me see this through I’d really appreciate it so I don’t have to start researching other options. Feel free to connect me with other threads that have solutions I can see. Thank you |
Hi Annie, The attendee numbers are consecutive; notice your registrations go from 204-209 in the same registration then go to 210: http://www.screencast.com/t/8u4UKgW0Jsw We make the option to copy the registration information from the primary attendee to subsequent registrations as a convenience for the person registering. This was highly requested years ago because the additional attendees information may be the same or very similar for as the primary attendee. That’s the simple logic behind that feature. You can control which questions are asked of the Primary Registrant and which questions are asked of Additional Registrants. Look at these fields in the event editor: http://www.screencast.com/t/R8VK7mj7q It’s also an option that IF you don’t want to collect registration information for additional attendees, and have all the tickets assigned to the same person, then you can de-select all the check boxes for the Additional Registrants. That way the primary attendee can purchase x number of tickets and all of them will be assigned to the primary registrant. We can configure some of your events on the demo with different scenarios if that would help? |

Hi, I would love it if you could configure the scenario I’m struggling with. |

Hi Annie, If I understand you right then I think you may have added more questions to the Personal Information question group. Instead you can create a new Question group and add the questions there. Then in the event, make the Primary attendee answer those and the Additional attendees just answer the primary group. Screenshot http://take.ms/saCgm I hope that makes some sense but if not just let me know. |
