Hi – Admin is getting an email when a ticket is fully processed and paid for via Paypal which is great, but not when someone abandons paying in Paypal and is left as an incomplete registrant for an event. Is there a way of alerting the site admin of this somehow so they can manually follow up with the incomplete registration? Thanks.
Currently that is not possible with EE3, you can set the registration confirmation email to be sent earlier (it can be sent on the payment selection page) but then the user will also receive the confirmation before payment.
EE4 allows for this in that if a user is directed to PayPal and then closes the browser and does not pay, once the session has expired (by default is 1 hour) the registration will switch to ‘Pending Payment’ and the pending payment email will be triggered.
Have you considered updating to EE4?
(Note that EE4 is not just an update to EE3, it is a completely different system built from the ground up, so I would highly recommend updating on a development copy of the site first just to check it fits all of your needs before changing the live site)
