Hi,
ESSA have only one venue, yet for each event they need to select that venue.
Is there a way to select that by default?

Hi Anita,
Yes, this is possible and t can be done a couple of different ways.
One option is to filter the select element and set the default value to be the ID of your venue, like this:

You can add that to a custom functions plugin on your site, we have some documentation on creating one here:

Set the ID of the venue on Line 13 and EE will default to that venue when an event is created.
