Hello I have just purchased the plugin and installed all the required plugins. I have gone through quite a lot of posts here already and none have solved my problem. I cannot get individual colors to show on my calender for each category. I have set the individual colors, made sure I have put the correct options set to either “yes” or “no”. I am also struggling to get any social media buttons to show on my registration page. |
|
I also cannot get the “Add to cart” feature to show up. I have installed the plugin and activated it. |
Hi there, With the calendar colors, which options are set to yes/no in Event Espresso>Calendar settings. In order to get calendar category colors these should be set as follows: Enable CSS for Categories -> Yes Then within each category the Use Color Pickers setting needs to be set to Yes. |

The social media buttons will display on the registration page if the social media add-on is active. The add to cart links will display on the page that lists the events if the Multi Event Registration add-on is active. If either of the above isn’t happening on your site please post a link to the page that has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it so we can investigate. |

Hello Josh, Thank you for the speedy reply! I have exactly those options but still no color changes. They are all gray on my calender. |
It might help to post a link to the calendar page as well so we can take a look. |

I have a under construction landing page up. Where can I send login details? |
You can send them here: |

I checked and it looks like the server might have been hitting a query limit before it did the query that adds the colors to the calendar. I disabled the “Display Attendee Limits” option to free up some memory and the colors are displaying on the calendar now. This can happen on shared hosting in cases where there are more than 100 events in the system. Some of the calendar’s features (like the category colors, tooltip, and attendee limits) will hit the database kinda hard if there are a lot of events. You might consider setting the calendar to not display past events in order as more events get added to the system down the road too. |

Thank you for helping! I was trying to figure out to do just that. People can only book for events that are one month in advance, how can I get it to show like this and not show expired ones (last weeks events for example). Thanks |
You can change the shortcode on the calendar page from: [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=”true”] to [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=”false”] |
