Hello all, just updated to EE4 with the main intention of using the calendar. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. I’ve tried switching over to a different theme and that wasn’t it. I turned off some plugins and it still didn’t work. Page is http://www.cornerstonepoweryoga.com/schedule. I currenly have 3 shortcodes on that page (only month we currently have events is December):

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR month=12 year=2017]

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE order_by=start_date category_filter=false show_venues=false show_all_datetimes=true table_search=false]

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS title=” “]

Any help would be appreciated to get the calendar showing. Thanks.

Hi there,

Can you try these troubleshooting steps?

You go to add a new page on your site, then add the calendar shortcode only, without parameters:

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR]

Does the calendar display on that page?

Hi Josh, thanks for the quick response and your help. Interesting, it does display on that new page (https://www.cornerstonepoweryoga.com/calendar-testing/). I’m curious if you know why so I can edit the other one.

Hi there,

Looking at your calendar page it seems to be working fine, is it still not working for you or have you already fixed the problem?

It’s working fine now. For some reason it didn’t play nice with other shortcodes, like those for events or the table view. I also had to change the URL in the navigation. It wouldn’t work if I tried copying and pasting all the code to the old page, or even changing the new page URL to the old one.

Last question: is there a way to show 6 weeks in advance, starting with the current week? Instead of just a month view. Thanks for your help!

You may have been hitting a query limit on the site with all of the shortcodes in use (just a guess though).

Not currently, it would be possible with some custom development but not something we have available within the add-on.
