I have been playing around with the Event Calendar Widget with no success. As you can see from my page the calendar is really ugly!
I set a height of 300px in the setting page with no result.
I tried to add the css style in my child theme style file with no result.
I tries to upload the calendar.css file to wp-content/uploads/espresso/ and change it with no result.
I would like to have a simple calendar, with no even titles, only squares that show on which days there are events. When you hover the event pops up and it is all I need.
There is an old post with an example of a small calendar that could be an excellent starting point. How do I achieve this?
To get the calendar like the one in the link you shared, you need to add the Event Espresso Calendar widget to a widget area in Appearance > Widgets. Here is an example: http://eetesting.info/jon/
With a little CSS, you can make it match your site’s colors.
There are a few things that you can check. The first is to verify that there isn’t a calendar shortcode on the /corsi/ page. Then in the WordPress>Appearance>Widgets screen, you can check to make sure that the settings are set up like this screenshot.
You can enter the page slug or page ID for any page that is displaying a full page calendar (not the widget though).
