I am having trouble with the way that events are showing up on my calendar. The full description is being show instead of the excerpt (I have ‘show short description’ turned on in the template) and I have tried to insert the More tag and that would work except that instead of a button that says “View Details” at the bottom of the event box it says “Register Now”. If you click on “Register Now” it only shows the cancellation policy and not any of the event information.
Helping in solving this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and effort!

Hi,
‘View Details’ is displayed when the ‘Display registration form’ setting within that events ‘Event Options’ is set to no – http://take.ms/VQ4RC
You should be able to add the More tag within the event event description without causing the tooltip to display ‘View Details’. If you view the event that currently happens on in you Calendar, you’ll notice no registration form is displayed so that event has that option mentioned set to No.
If you were to Edit another of your events and add the more tag just under, for example
Register for this 2-hour fun lesson and get started today!
You should only see up to that point within the Calendar.
