I just upgraded from 3.1.12 to the latest version 3.1.30.7p and now my calendar shortcodes do not work. Also … any page containing them will not show any of the content.

Catagory shortcodes seem to be working.

I’m afraid it might be a jquery issue but I cannot track it down .. any assistance is appreciated.

WP Version 3.5.1
EE 3.1.30.7p
Calendar 2.0.4
Multi Events 1.0.4
Recurring 1.1.7

Hi there,

If it were a jQuery issue there would be JavaScript errors in the web inspector. In this case it may be the calendar script is loading up a lot of older events and it’s timing out. You could try changing the calendar shortcode to:

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=”false”]

Still doesn’t work … it was working fine before the upgrade.

Thanks for trying that though, it made a difference. Now there’s some calendar code in the page source to work with. There are paragraph tags getting added for each new line.

A common work around that can fix this for many themes that have stripped away the normal WordPress auto-formatting that you can try is this:

[raw][ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=”false”][/raw]

Works with the raw tags … hmmm… I tried those earlier, though not with the extended shortcode.

Thanks for the help!
