Hi,

Cannot access the calendar add-on settings page. Getting the “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page” message. Any help appreciated.

Hi Megin,

May I ask are you logged in as the site admin (WordPress Administrator role) when you try to view that page? If the WordPress user role is something like “Editor” or “Event Administrator” then that settings page may not be available.

Hi Josh,

Yes, I am logged in as an Administrator.

Best,

Hi Megin,

Can you go to Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> Reset/Delete Data.

Click the ‘Reset Event Espresso Capabilities’ button only.

Can you now access the settings?

Actually, looking at your site it doesn’t look like the EE4 Calendar is active?

Can you go to Dashboard -> Plugins.

Do you see a plugin named ‘Event Espresso – Calendar (EE 4.3+)’ listed there?

What specific version number is it? – https://monosnap.com/file/Wy5ay8DKnY82VYhaxooQ6Mw2U79NWj

Hi Tony,
Thanks, this has been resolved. Somehow when working on the staging site I uploaded the EE3 version rather than EE4. Apologies!
