Hi, I’m having issues seeing the full Calendar using X-Theme. This is a brand new site and I’ve created a few test events and added the shortcode into the page. I’ve read through the troubleshooting jQuery conflicts and don’t see any of the mentioned errors. When I changed the name of the page all of a sudden the calender showed up but than the X-theme editor stopped working. I’ve created a new page – Is it possible for someone to have a look at what’s happening? Sample link here: http://thestudypro.com/registration-calendar/ Thanks! |
Hi there, None of the Calendar scripts/styles are being loaded on that page.
What are you changing the name of the page to? What happens within cornerstone (the X theme editor) when its not working? How do you have the calendar loading within cornerstone currently? It looks like its just the shortcode within a text element, is that right? |

When I went to change the name of the page (premalink) either in Edit or Quick Edit – I saw the calendar started working. Tried that test a few more times with the same results – seen here (June has the test dates) – http://thestudypro.com/registration-test2/ And then going back into X-Theme to Edit I get this message “Un oh! An Unidentifiable error is preventing the live preview from loading. Switching to Skeleton Mode.” The calendar is loaded with the first basic shortcode: [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] X-Theme is up to date and WordPress as well. We haven’t done any other work on expresso yet in terms of styling. Thanks in advance if you have any tips! |
Do you have access to the server error logs? If so can you try loading Cornerstone and get that error to show. Then check the rrror logs for anything related to Event Espresso.
But how are you adding the [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] to the page? Using cornerstone the standard editor? If using cornerstone are you just adding it to a text element? |

Where would I go to find the errors? We had someone look at it and wasn’t quite sure what’s happening. [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] is being added into cornerstone with a text element. Do you recommend having someone go into the site and having a look? |
It depends on your hosting, some hosts provide a section within the control panel to view the latest errors being thrown on the site. If you enable WP_DEBUG on the site you may see the errors on the page itself. |
