I’ve received reports that our calendar is not displaying in IE9. Here is the URL http://healthyalbany.org/blog1/class/ .
Any thoughts?

Hi Rob,
Does your active WordPress theme allow the page to load up in compatibility mode? That’s the first thing I would check.

Hi Rob,
Can you test it in IE9 with the twentythirteen theme active? You can switch themes as admin by using the theme test drive plugin

I switched to twentythirteen and it displays the same way in IE9. The calendar doesn’t display if the compatibility mode button is active.

Hi Rob,
I checked and it turns out that the calendar doesn’t display when the browser is set to view the page in compatibility mode.
Here is a screenshot of the page in compatibility mode.
Here is a screenshot of the page when compatibility mode is turned off.
There’s a way to make it so the theme will force compatibility mode off. It involves adding this line of code to the theme’s header:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" />
