I am just getting started. I have loaded a couple of sample events and placed the calendar shortcode directly into a wordpress page using the shortcode widget. But the calendar is not showing. you can view my page here: https://www.lifeforcearts.org/newsite/calendar/
I’ve disabled my theme back to Twenty Twenty as well but the calendar still not showing

Hi there,
Apologies but I don’t follow this ‘directly into the wordpress page using a shortcode widget’, can you explain how you are adding the shortcode?
It looks like none of the calendar scripts are loading on the page, which is common with page builders and you can fix it using a snippet like this:

That snippet tells EE to load the calendar scripts on specific pages, for your current setup you can remove lines 7 – 9.
Add that to a custom functions plugin on the site, we have some documentation on creating one here:

With the above in place, does the calendar then load?

Thanks Tony – to clarify, I had placed the shortcode into a basic wordpress page, no page builder used at all, using a shortcode block. I also tried a text block.
I will try creating the function and will get back to you.
