Calendar Items Don't Load When WordPress HTTPS Activated

We have SSL on our site and when I activate the WordPress HTTPS plugin, the calendar keeps spooling and won’t load any events. In Chrome DevTools I get the error:

XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://www.tiggys.ca/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=get_calendar_events&noheader=true&start_date=1406444400&end_date=1410073200&show_expired=false. No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘https://tiggys.ca’ is therefore not allowed access.

But I’m not sure what to do to correct it. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Events Calendar Plugin. Thanks in advance!

Wordpress Version: 3.9.2
EE3 3.1.36.5
New Installation
Site is https://www.tiggys.ca/current-workshops/ but is currently blocked by WP-Maintenance Mode; I can give you temp login details if needed by PM.

Hello,

You’ll need to set your WordPress admin to also use HTTPS. That should correct this issue.

Thanks for the reply, I have “Force SSL Administration” checked in the HTTPS settings so my entire admin panel is using SSL and the calendar still won’t load.

Actually, I see what the issue is.

Chrome counts these as two separate sites so its blocking a resource on one:

http://www.example.com
example.com

To fix this issue, pick one of those to use and then ask your web host to setup a redirect so traffic is sent to that URL.

For example, if you go with example.com, then the redirect should send any requests for http://www.example.com to example.com.

Thank-you that worked! I also changed my WordPress URL so that it matched.
