Hi there,

It looks like your User Profiles Made Easy plugin needs to be updated so it’s compatible with WordPress 4.5. It’s breaking all the scripts on your site, including the Calendar.

Got the Versión UPME 2.1.10 and still nothing :/

I’d say version UPME 2.1.10 isn’t compatible with WordPress 4.5 or it wouldn’t be throwing JavaScript errors on every page of your site. Have you contacted the plugin author? You can let them know this is the error that it’s throwing:

Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: a[href=#upme_inner_modal]

Hi there,

When you edited your theme previously in this thread:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/problems-on-single-event-display/

Did you create a child theme or just edit the theme directly?

If you edited the theme directly you will have lost the modifications made when you updated the theme recently, meaning you will need to run through the steps in the above thread once again. However make sure this time you create a child theme and place the template within that child theme to prevent this happening in the future.

Which shortcode are you using on that page?

Hey Tony!

On my theme functions I have this

add_filter('FHEE__EED_Event_Single__template_include__allow_custom_selected_template', '__return_true' );
}?>

For the calendar, am using the [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] shortcode.

Have you just added that back in now or are you using a child theme?

That function on its own doesn’t do anything useful.

Do you have a single-espresso_events.php template as mentioned HERE?

Hey Tony! I was working on the page right now, maybe thats why you saw changes!

I created a child theme and got all the php and changes working on the child theme.

had to update the hold website again but right now everything seems working.

The only odd thing is the single venue .php

https://www.lucacenter.com/venues/instituto-desarrollo-universal/

How can i take out the “Leave a comment”

btw thank you for your patience :s

Ah ok, I’m glad its working 🙂

The easiest way to remove that link is to hide is using some css:

.venue-content .comments-link {
    display: none;
}

Hi there,

I’m not seeing any issues with scrolling on your site using the Chrome browser. Are you seeing issues with scrolling on other pages?

Hello, you might consider switching to a managed WordPress host like WP Engine as they will take care of the complicated stuff like security and caching so you don’t have to worry about adjusting any settings in several WordPress plugins. Additionally, they’ll keep your WordPress core updated and backup your site on a daily basis.

And WP Engine was rated very highly by our members via a hosting survey:

https://eventespresso.com/requirements/

On your question on how to collect personal information for additional guests/registrants, you can do that by enabling the personal question group for additional registrants through the event editor and then saving changes.

It looks like this:

Saw wp-engine , sadly is too much per years 1k plus!

anyway got another question,

http://i.imgur.com/q6lyLMz.jpg

How can i disable the description text on it via CSS? because i only want to remove it on the calendar not on the event itselft.

i want something like this: http://i.imgur.com/XMb5w7i.jpg

Hello again!

is there a way for schedule-a-description?

like if I had a event on Saturday, I want the description be available on Saturday until is finish the event.

Example: I want to open a forums event on Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. And am going to give them the link to the forums via the description of the event so they can enter and post their question.

Hi Luca,

That is not something that Event Espresso supports, however you should be able to use any plugin that hides content based on date/times, for example:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/shortcodes-to-show-or-hide-content/

Hello,

Go to that event in the event editor and add the more tag where ever you would like and then save changes to the event.

It looks like this:

http://cl.ly/3a0S3a1b0o2H

Once that is added, then any information after the more tag will not be shown.

Also, if you have any new questions that were not already mention in your support post, then go ahead and create a new support post:
