Hello,
I have two questions for using the calendar.
First, is there a way in the dropdown to only show the venues available for the category selected? It’s frustrating for our users to try all the different locations and see if there are any classes for that category when some venues don’t ever offer that class.
Second, I wanted to know if there is a way to show different information for when a category and location is selected from the schedule dropdown options. Since, some classes are offered only a few times a year, i don’t want users to have to keep on clicking through the months. I was hoping instead I could add a sidebar widget that would show the upcoming events for what they selected, so they know that there are classes offered, just at a later time.

Not currently, to do that the dropdowns would need to be dynamically filled whenever a venue is selected. Event Espresso does not currently allow for this so it would take some custom development.

You mean update the sidebar widget based on the values selected within the Calendar dropdowns?
It would be possible but again would take some custom development to pull the values from the dropdowns and send an ajax request to pull in the events based on those values, then update the widget with those events.
