When I open my calendar now it will display Jan page first, I will need to click “next” button to see Feb events. Is there a way can set it as directly show current month when people open calendar?

Hi there Leeann,
I tested this out and the [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] shortcode does this on its own for Event Espresso 4.
The exception is if you have parameters setup to show a specific month.
What is the shortcode that you are using on the page and could you share a link to the page please?

Hi Leeann,
The calendar should automatically start with the current month. Can you check the page in the editor to make sure the short code doesn’t have something like:
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR month=01 year=2016]
If the short code is only
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR], then something isn’t quite right there. Can you post a link to the calendar page here so we can investigate further?
