Hello, the Event Espresso Calendar works beautifully on desktops, but you can not see or click on any events on mobile versions. Please provide step-by step and jargon free instructions on how to create a calendar that is visible on mobile devices. I found forum instructions from 2017 on a mobile plug-in, but it appears to be out of date. Thank you!

Hi,

The calendar documentation has step by step instructions:
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/events-calendar-add-on/#how_to_calendar_list_on_small_screens

If you’d prefer to use a mobile detect plugin that has been more recently updated, this one is also available to download:

Woohoo. Just fixed the desktop, the code was spaced incorrectly. Now I just need help with the mobile.

Mobile Update: Only this one is working,

[phone][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/phone]
[notphone][ESPRESSO_CALENDAR][/notphone]

I see that the list is in order (earliest event listed first); however, I ideally would like dates on the lists, so folks do not have to click into each event while on their phone. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!

Hi,

You can add dates to the list display by following these step-by step and jargon free instructions:

1) You go to Event Espresso > Events > Templates
2) You scroll down to the heading “Event List Pages”
3) Set Display Datetimes to Yes
4) Click the Save button.
